Okay, you're new to BMX. Welcome. You could use some guidance. Putting your bike together, learning new tricks, or shopping for bike parts. BMX Basics is the perfect magazine for you. It has everything you are looking for and helps you on your way to become a real BMX rider.
Bruno Hoffmann and Tobias Wicke are some of the riders that can show you the tricks step by step. They had to start from scratch just like yourself, and learning the basics is more important than starting off with trying a double tailwhip. BMX is not easy, but you can learn something new every day. Just put your time and energy into it and you'll progress at your own pace. BMX Basics takes you through the steps.
And when your bike fails, the magazine has the tips to fix it, or if it's broken, the parts are listed in the magazine so you can shop
When I went to Paul's Boutique a little while ago uncle Paul had something for me. He gave me some grips to test. They looked like ODI grips. I always wanted a pair of ODI grips but these grips are an ODI clone. Once on the bike I gave the grips a test. The plastic bar ends protect the grips from going through the bars. The grips are pretty big for my hands compared to the original Odyssey grips that were on the bike before but I'm getting
Halfpipes are big and scary. I don’t think I have ever ridden one. But over in England they have a halfpipe series, and also the kids enter this competition. The second round was held outdoors on a halfpipe in Upton. Most of the halfpipe riders are pretty old, but they are bringing their kids now. There is a special class for them. They call it Vert Squirts for some reason. Kodee Jaykins did really well on his 16 inch bike and made it to the top of the ramp and to the top of the results. Congratulations.
Next round will be at the Beast Ramps in Manchester, England on September 22.
Hi FATBMX Kids fans, today I went to the Flame Trails, just around the corner from my house in the Netherlands. It’s more of a pump track. You can ride fast and you can jump everything. We started off by putting everything up, the tents, the flags, the banners and then we rode, we rode, we rode and we rode.
The FATJAM is a day I always look forward to. We can win prizes and ride the jumps with all the other riders. There was also a barbeque with Frikandellen and Hamburgers. I had a plan. I wanted to jump the Killer Jump which is much bigger than me. Daniel Wedemeijer helped me jump it. That made me happy. It was a fun day to ride with all the BMX-ers at the Sugar Hills Trails in Aarle-Rixtel.
