Kieran Reilly has won a historic Olympic silver medal for Team GB in the BMX Freestyle event. He proved a firm skill base and creativity by competing brilliantly to land him on the podium. Early Beginnings and Rise to Prominence
Kieran Reilly's BMX story began at a tender age. He was born into a supportive family that enabled him to get attracted to BMX. He spent loads of hours in local skateparks, just riding and learning new things; the early years were tough, but his passion for the sport had him rapidly progressing. In his teens, Reilly was known in the BMX circuit. His style and bold tricks put him in the limelight with fans and sponsors. Competitions that took place around the UK and Europe gave him a platform to show his skills. This set the stage for the amount of work that would go into competition and eventually lead to success.
The Road to the Olympics
