The Shadow Conspiracy & Subrosa Brand sent over Ollie Shields and Joris Coulomb for the USWA 2017 Soulcycle BMX Championships round II! Ollie and Joris have been killing it on the streets of Amsterdam for the week and filmer Tom Lammerse joined them on one of their sessions! Besides that Ollie Shields took first place at the BMX STREET competition and became second at the SPINE MINI best trick (270, to smith, to fakie on the sub-box)!
Last week our capital was all about the Urban Sports Week Amsterdam. From 6 till 9 July there where different kinds of urban sports which could be practiced and seen. BMX was represented with an own event, the Soulcycle BMX Championships! Riders from all over the world came to Amsterdam to compete for the prize money (over €12.000), ride together and have an awesome time! The spectators could hang out on Amsterdam’s Museumplein, watch some amazing BMX riding and enjoy the very chilled vibe that the Urban Sports Week Amsterdam has to offer!

The Dutch BMX scene got together on Friday night during the Moora Cup awards at the Skate Café in Amsterdam. The place was going to be opened the next day so having the wild BMX bunch in there the night before was a bit risky. But everyone behaved the best they could (ahum) and most of the nominated riders were present. BMX was celebrated and having everyone in one place together should happen more often because good times were had. And the winners are.....
This Friday December 16th the Moora Cup will take place at the Skate Café in Amsterdam. The new bar (with indoor concrete mini/bowl en paardenhoek) will be turned upside down when the Dutch BMX scene will welcome the cup winners.
