VSI Products, Inc. is proud to announce that Lee Lewis has joined its inside sales department. VSI is the parent company of THE, Intense BMX, Speed Bicycles, Sinz & Sinz Elite, ITS, EYE BMX, AVE and Vigor, all product lines Lee will be selling to retailers across the country. He started his new job today. A native of Houston, Texas, and an A Pro racer, Lee previously worked in sales at Formula Bicycles in San Diego. More recently, he has been living in Phoenix working retail at Industrial Ride Shop and on the road teaching Super Camps. He made the move to Long Beach, California, this week to work for VSI. "I'm really excited to be here at VSI. It's the perfect job for me.

The death toll from the disaster that hit Japan has now passed 10,000. It’s reported that 17,000+ people are still missing and more than 240,000 people are still in evacuation shelters. With damages to the road networks and transport infrastructure, movement around the country is still severely restricted. Most survivors still don’t have access to heating or warm clothing as temperatures drop to freezing at night. UK BMX brand BSD has appointed Snap Distribution as its new distributor for the UK. The Hastings based company will represent BSD from spring 2011 and will be responsible for supplying specialist BMX and bike shops throughout the UK. Snap Distribution, who will be replacing Zeal, has been established since 2003 and have distributed freestyle, race BMX and clothing brands including Twenty Bikes and Shitluck. Grant Smith, Director of BSD, commented: “We are excited about working with Snap, they are a forward thinking company which is service driven. They are about streamlining the distribution process and have invested heavily into online B2B ordering tools, making it as easy as possible for shops to place orders.
