The weekly door to door papers that we receive usually don't have too much to offer. They show what soccer games are coming up, which furniture store is open that weekend or which local won a fishing contest. But the latest issue had something about a street art expo in the library closeby. We decided to go take a look during the opening.

The BMX ART show is part of the rebeljam. This year in Eindhoven several photographers were asked to send in a couple of pictures. The rebeljam crew had enlargements made and put them up in a room upstairs for all to see during the weekend. Friday night was the opening party and most of the photographers showed up personally. Next to the pictures also some customized Vans slip-ons were on display that you can see by going HERE. For the photographs, look inside.
Several BMX related artists were asked to come up with an idea to customize a pair of white Vans slip-ons. The shoes were on display at the rebeljam in Eindhoven this weekend for all to see. In the next couple of weeks the shoes will be auctioned off to benefit BMX-ers in need who are facing big hospital bills. Take a look at the shoes and pick your favourites. These shoes came from the hands of Bob Haro, Mike de Wit, Joe-Tek, Taj Mihelich, Ron Bonner and Big Island got to do two pair.
Loads of you are able to do some design work and right at this moment, we're looking for a new FATBMX T-shirt design so we can print some up and have them ready for the rebeljam. If you've designed T-shirts before, you know how this works, you know what the print shop needs to get these made. Keep in mind that the more colours in the design, the more films need to be made and the more expensive the T-shirts will become. Keep in mind the different colours of T-shirts that we can use with your design.
What's in it for you? We'll get a (6-)package together for you plus the very first shirt that rolls off the printers' shop. If you're coming to the rebeljam, we will figure out a way to sneak you in (don't tell anyone).
We're looking for serious designers that know what they're

At the upcoming rebeljam a few BMX related artists were asked to work on a white pair of Vans slip-ons and here's what Bob Haro came up with: "Here are my just completed art-shoes for the VANS Rebeljam show to be held this year on the first weekend in December. It's a bmx event that celebrates different aspects of bmx and its lifestyle.
