Glenn Salyers won the BMX park event Saturday at the Free Flow Tour finals. The competition was held at the AST Dew Tour’s Toyota Challenge. In the Free Flow Tour’s BMX park finals, 21-year-old Salyers of Kokomo, Ind. used a flawless second run full of technical tricks – including a flair over the gap – to secure the win. Dan Norvell, of Clairmont, Calif., took second place with a 91.60, while Trey Jones, of Apopka, Fla., followed with a 90.67.

“Getting a chance like this is awesome,” Salyers said. “Now that I’ve won the Free Flow Tour, I’m going to ride more and learn some new tricks. I’m going to be ready to ride with the best when the PlayStation Pro comes next month.”

With the win Salyers earns a wildcard entry into the AST Dew Tour’s PlayStation® Pro, October 16-19.

AST Dew Tour-Free Flow Tour Finals Results Saturday, September 13, 2008 Salt Lake City 

Tyler Chamberlain won the BMX park event Friday at the Free Flow Tour finals. The competition was held at the AST Dew Tour’s Toyota Challenge. The 21-year-old Chamberlain of Herrick, Ill. achieved the win with his first run score of 88.00, landing a 540 and multiple barspin variations. Kyle Noble, of Indian Harbour Springs, Fla., followed with an 86.00 and Kevin Colla, of South Windsor, Conn., placed third with an 82.67.

“It feels really good to win the Free Flow Tour title,” Chamberlain said. “There are some things that I need to work on between now and Orlando, but I’m excited. To get an opportunity like this is unbelievable. I can’t wait to compete on the Dew Tour.”

With the win, Chamberlain earns a wildcard entry into the AST Dew Tour’s PlayStation® Pro, October 16-19.

Jamie Bestwick won the BMX vert event and Mike Aitken won the BMX dirt event Friday in the Toyota Challenge. In BMX vert, Bestwick won a tiebreaker against Chad Kagy to top the BMX Vert competition Friday in the Toyota Challenge. The 37-year-old Bestwick, from England, earned his third victory of the AST Dew Tour season with 93.00 points, despite competing with an injured back. Kagy, from Gilroy, Calif., ended up second based on a lower second-run score. England's Simon Tabron was third at 92.17.

Kagy took the lead in his first run with 93.00 points in a performance that included a Superman seat grab and a 540 tailwhip. His fellow competitors were unable to best his score for the remainder of the first heat. Kagy retained the lead throughout the second heat, until Bestwick, the last competitor, performed. Bestwick tied Kagy in his run, which included an alley oop downside tailwhip and multiple 540s.

The current top three vert riders that joined Thursday's seven vert qualifiers, did it again during the finals on Friday at the SLC stop of the Dew Tour. Jamie Bestwick scored one full point more than Chad Kagy. Brit Simon Tabron reached thrid place on his rainbow bike.

The BMX BOK series are celebrating their 10th anniversary! If you like to relax, have fun and ride your bike, this is for you...

This year's BOK Series will take place the 20th of September at the infamous Burnside Skatepark in Deventer, The Netherlands. The park opens at 10 AM and the contest starts at 1 PM.

The contest will be a fun session with 4 min heats with 4 riders. Best 2 riders go on to the semi final. Final will be the best 10 showing their skills in 2min runs.

This years ingredients:
- 10 YRS of BOK - je weet toch...
- Not french, but original dutch fries
- BBQ with original frinkandellen (just ask Andy Zeiss...)
- Some cold drinks

The Twenty Jam in France is always one to look out for. Good times are a certain when these folks get to work. This year they got some special events and prizes together and everyone rode hard. We have a couple of pictures and the results for you.
