On sunday the 27th we celebrate the first summer Session at our PG Trails in Oldenburg, Germany. The weather was awesome, and about hundred riders met at the trails to ride and chill together.
The temper was really cool, everyone no matter if he is a pro or a rookie ride together and showed respect to the other one. To sum up it was a great weekend. I took a few pictures and check also www.bmx-ol.de for more.

It’s impossible to imagine, but today Red Bull Elevation turned the Parque Metropolitano into a runway. Thirty bicycles rolled for more than three hours over tons of dirt that give shape to the most impressive BMX Dirt Jump track.

The best riders of the world jumped up to three meters of height with only one thing in mind: to perform the best and most perfect tricks such as tailwhips, barspins and frontflips. 

We are at the FISE in Montpellier and the first pro event took place today. It was the miniramp comp which basically only exists in Europe. And for those in the know, it's a good event. The crowd was huge and pro qualifying took place in the sunshine with lots of good riders on the platform. Mark Webb did really well and must have qualified up on top (results are not known yet) with Daniel Dhers being up there too. Both riders held back just a little for the finals (Sunday) as they have a big bag of tricks they can dig out of. Harry Main span a 900 on the Braun ramp and did a 720 over the big spine to make it to the finals. It was a close call though between all the other riders so you'll have to wait to see who made it, and who did not. High air too place tonight as well and a French dude showed up all of a sudden to give Chase Hawk a run for his money. After watching photos of 5 different photo camera's it ended up being a tie at 3,5 meters with the lowest part of the bike counting. It wasn't the easy way out, it was the right decision. Digital photography' rules for this. 750 Euros for both the Frenchie and Chase. The evening that followed was good. 

Pro dirt at the FISE is always a straight final. To find the dirt jumps you had to explore a little bit as it was located a bit from the actual event area. Once there you forgot about the walk you just did and enjoyed the riding. The set-up was okay. A drop from the truck into a downhill section towards the three lines. The one on the left started with a 90 ft double to a giant set. It looked more like a freestyle motocross jump set up than a BMX dirt jump course but those with speed in their legs cleared it and it was impressive that they did. Next to the long set there were two lines. The bigger one of the two was in the middle and it was possible to transfer to the left or right as the landings were the same, just the take-offs had different distances.

The night was kicking in and the soundsystem and lights were doing their work. It was kinda dark though but the riders kept on riding do it didn't seem to bother them too much. Everyone had 4 runs with the best three counting towards the final score. 

The Brasil X Games were awesome. Since the beginning when HSA asked me to invite good Brasilian bmxers to participate I could see that it would be different, talking about real street, that updated discipline for around the world, although I always say it's not new, it just got the right value now... Then we could see here in Brasil with this ramps made by very known skatepark designer here in Brasil, George Rotatori, he was very artistic in this X Games project, reproducing real boulevards we got in my down town city,

The inaugural X Games Brazil kicked off today in Sao Paulo as 17,861 screaming fans welcomed a world-class, international field of action sports athletes. The first day of competition showcased some of the world's best action sports athletes competing in BMX Street, BMX Vert, Skateboard Street and Moto X Best Trick at the Sambodromo do Anhembi in Sao Paulo. "We knew bringing the X Games to Sao Paulo would be big, but today significantly exceeded all of our expectations," said Rick Alessandri, Senior Vice President, ESPN Consumer Products and X Games Franchise Managing Director. "The fans in attendance were treated to spectacular performances by all our athletes."

I just arrived home, still wet and dripping for unloading the ramps and banners, excited and very happy running I came to pass what rolled just fill minuts ago... The Event SBC Flow, the second stage of the CBER BMX series, happened yes, it was wonderful, an end of week of BMX in SBC inaugurating the skatepark for competition, with more than 200 BMXers in the area, Presenting wonderfully the force of the BMX, nice infrastructure of the Park School Cittá Di Marostica the best place of BMX freestyle of the Country, with accomplishment of the ABBMX and CBER which beat again a record of our event, as much

When some major companies decide to put on a three stop festival and combine it with bands, you can ask yourself some questions. Why do they need us to bring their message across? What have they done for BMX? Why do I need to get involved? You can make your own answers and if it's not your cup of tea, you simply don't go or skip this update, fair enough. But it looks like things are turning in the right direction. The Duisburg stop was sold out for a start. Maybe the crowd did not come for the BMX action alone but it was packed when something happened, 10 deep or more.

Pretty much straight after practice the T-mobile party boat was leaving for a 3 hour ride in Germany's biggest industrial area. The Ruhrgebiet is dirty, it smells and is very ugly. Maybe that's why the boat trip was organized at night. We didn't see much as we were staying close to the bank (A to the Z) and had a few of those German beers. Good times (always) when everyone is at the same spot and noone left the party early this time.

3 days ago I celebrated my 26th birthday! Looking back I think about how time seems to just come and go! Mentally I still feel as though I'm that 13yr old kid who only thought about how he was going to be able scrounge up $60 plus dollars (or however much I needed) to pay for a new set of forks. You see, back then I lived for learning how to ride 3ft high jumps! I'd finish a day of repeatedly casing over the second jump so badly that I couldn't make it onto the 3rd set but just yet so much fun. This would leave me contemplating whether or not I would be able to simply bend the forks back before they broke off or if I needed to bite the bullet and acquire new ones.

At 13, taking my bike and making a career of riding jumps was only a fantasy. I never really thought it would get me to where I am today. However, as I could never get enough of riding and was willing to
