Oh boy, it's getting close. The Supercross of San Francisco is starting tomorrow. It's 23:30pm at the moment and I'm typing this from a groovy hotel on Grant street in downtown SF.
The stadium is down the street and it has been raining a lot. This race might turn into a mud fest but I'm okay with that. Riding a supercross track in front of a sold out crowd sounds like a challenge to me. Look at the starter list for the other participants; Vanilla Ice, Cab, Agah,

Dear Roots Jam Riders and Family:
First, let me say thank you so much for all the emails and questions about Roots. I know all of you have been waiting for dates and info for 2005. Well, we are changing things up quite a bit this year and there is a lot of new news so read closely.
About a month ago we discovered a major scheduling conflict with our
We at FATBMX like to bring you some spot checks every now and then. When we passed the Etnies park in Lake Forest we had to make a U-turn and shoot a couple of pictures to share with you.
To our surprise we weren't allowed in the park with a camera. Even after asking if they wanted a good or a bad report, the person at the entrance stuck to the "Company Policy" of only allowing photographers
RIDE BMX came out with the new issue.
Look for the Beringer cover in the newsstand.
It's got a Biz Jordan and Matt Beringer interview, 2 of the funniest riders around. You should see the Beringer picture in yellow, good stuff.
Also a real nice photo of Rooftop stands out.
The April issue has got a cassette hub buyer's guide, lots of handrail stuff, a St. Louis scene report and Primo and Demolition product tests.
The Oakley building in Foothill Ranch is pretty sick. Not that it's a new thing or anything but we thought we'd let you in on a few pics of their facility. Maybe you have not seen it yet.
The building is sitting on top of a hill overlooking the Foothill and Lake Forest area. The entrance feels like you're stepping into a computer game. Once inside the lobby it feels surreal. What company has a dragster car hanging on the wall or a torpedo sitting there. Here are a few pics to show you more.
Adi over at TWOAND8 sent over some news regarding the team:
There a few congratulations to be mentioned for the boys. Kung is having a baby, well his girlfriend Kerri Edgworth (Scott’s sister) is. I think they’re due in March so it’ll be kungDAD not kungDOG.
Graeme Hardie has decided to make an honest man of himself and is now engaged to long suffering girlfriend (She must be a saint). Kye Forte has taken Graeme’s lead and is now also loved up and engaged to the lovely Gemma. Leo Forte isn't engaged but he is rumored to have passed his driving test. No idea what vehicle he’s gonna be driving but I think it should get a goth make over or at least red velvet seats and black paint.

When we interviewed Mike Collins over at Snafu he mentioned that the team has never been stronger, the product has never been better, the distributors have never been more into the product so things must be going well. Learn more about Mike Collins and his tasks over at Snafu. When did you start working for Snafu?
It’s about a good year and a half. I came here in July, went back to
Lots of BMX-ers showed up to watch round 2 of the THQ AMA Supercross in Anaheim. Among the 40.000 people were Robert de Wilde, Randy Stumphauser, Big E, Robbie and Ane Morales and Danny Hubbard to name a few.
With Bubba Stewart and Travis Pastrana out with injuries it left the battle for first in the 250cc class to Ricky Carmichael, Kevin WIndham and Chad Reed. RC got the holeshot with Reed in hot pursuit. Windham was coming from 18th place but rode strong and finished 3rd when the checkered flag was waved. Reed bobbled in the rhythm section and crashed and this is where RC took off. Check here for the other results.
