Dew Action Sports Tour Renamed as ASPT Dew Tour, The Action Sports Pro Tour. The ASPT Dew Tour, the Action Sports Pro Tour, today announced a rebranding initiative and will move away from the moniker used for the past two years, the Dew Action Sports Tour. The ASPT, or Action Sports Pro Tour, will become the umbrella brand of the organization with the ASPT Dew Tour remaining as the premiere summer action sports tour.
“The new ASPT mark and logo provide our property with a consistent messaging and the opportunity to expand under one umbrella,” said Wade Martin, President of the ASPT Dew Tour. “Not unlike NASCAR or the PGA Tour, we want the ASPT to be seen as the gold standard in competitive action sports.”
The new name and logos were unveiled earlier this month at the annual ASPT Dew Tour summit on February 7, 2207. The ASPT Dew Tour logo retains a similar look and feel to the Dew Action Sports Tour logo, allowing partners to seamlessly integrate the ASPT Dew Tour mark into their marketing communication for the 2007 season.

As a member of the Shadow Conspiracy team and a pro rider for more than 10 years, Byron Anderson has decided to retire as a pro BMX rider to focus on product development for The Shadow Conspiracy parts and accessoiries program. As an instrumental part of The Shadow Conspiracy from day one, Byron has been splitting duties as pro rider and Shadow development team member on many of their most progressive part designs.
"The ride with Shadow has been an amazing one," Byron states.
Winter is a drag. Round these parts, it's too cold to step outside and walk down the street for a Vitamin Water, let alone drag your bike outside and try to get any riding in. For the past few weeks, the temperature hasn't really gotten above freezing, and aside from a few days spent inside, riding BMX has been pretty hard to come by. So we're not motivated to even step outside already, and to add insult to injury, we've gotta struggle to find the motivation to produce a BMX magazine amid these circumstances? (For those of you with real jobs we're obviously kidding about that last part).
But, there's still a lot of great stuff going on out there so we took what we could get, buckled down and got on with the winter, producing issue 57 somewhere along the way. It's done now and ready for consumption. Here's some of what you'll find in there:
