A new season and a new concept for FISE World Series. This year for the first time ever, the tour will be preceded by a launch event held at the stunning Jeddah New Water Front organized by the Saudi General Sports Authority. Unlike the rest of the tour where all athletes are welcome, this event is open to riders by invitation only. For FISE World Series first visit to the Middle East*, we are bringing together some of the best riders from last season to showcase their skills in: BMX Freestyle Park and Flatland, Roller Freestyle, Skateboard, Parkour, Kitesurfing and Wakeboard.

The 2018 season will get a rad opening in Japan. From April 6th to 8th, Hiroshima’s former Municipal Stadium will be home to the FISE action sports and peace festival. FISE World Series 2017 concluded just one month ago in Chengdu, China, but it is already time to prepare next season’s grand opening. Action sports festivals such as FISE are experiencing worldwide growth, especially amongst young people.
Within this new context, FISE Hiroshima can be regarded as a significant step forward in generating awareness of, and interest in, youth-focused events like Skateboarding and BMX Freestyle throughout Japan. The festival will feature a strong focus on events that can be enjoyed casually by young people and women throughout the city.
With a start in Montpellier, then stopping in Budapest and Edmonton, the FISE World Series truly had a banging year so far. But we are not done: one last stop still needs to take place, and it will do so in Chengdu, China, from November 3-5. Sealing the deal for the 2017 season, the Chinese stop will unmistakeably push the riders to give their very best, in the hope of claiming a spot on the podium not only for the event but also for the overall FISE World Series rankings. So keep an eye on Nan Hu Park, in Chengdu: you wouldn't want to miss any of the action that will take place there.

UCI BMX FREESTYLE PARK WORLD CUP - MEN. After a windy stop in Budapest, it's time for Logan Martin to recover his place on the podium! Kicked out of the competitions during the semi-final due to a massive crash, the winner of the FISE World Series 2016 is not going to wait quietly at the 6th place in the general ranking. But he is facing the Daniel Dhers' solid and regular runs, as well as a Brandon Loupos highly confident thanks to his first place in Budapest. Moreover, the Russian Irek Rizaev is counting as a challenger and he is firmly hooked to his third place. Let's see if the thousand of barspins added in each trick by Logan can make a difference!
UCI BMX FREESTYLE PARK WORLD CUP - WOMEN
Warmed up by the first stop of the FISE World Series in Montpellier, the riders are eager to participate in the second event in Budapest, from the 18th to the 20th of August in BudaPart - Kopaszi gát park. This tour is a World Action Sports Festival, which organizes amateurs and professional competitions in the following disciplines: BMX Freestyle Park, BMX Freestyle Flatland, Skateboard, Mountain Bike, Roller Freestyle. Each stops is the occasion for riders to performing for an overall ranking, which is rewarding at the end of each year the winner of the tour. According to the core soul of the festival, FISE events are also the occasion for spectators to discover action sports by many initiations and demos organized, as well as having a great time with friends or family by cruising the exhibitor's area and enjoying the spot.
