The jam starts at 11am and ends at sunset which is probably around 5pm these days. Directions: A96 Memmingen - Lindau, Exit 32 Wangen Ravensburg. It's under a bridge. At the beginning of the year I made myself a goal to update the FATBMX site every (work)day. More people make those promises but I believe we´ve been doing pretty good with over 1000 articles posted on the FAT site this year. But then, out of the blue, the server crashed. The USA based server messed up and it was impossible to get on the site to upload stuff. Even worse, the server only had a back up of the site that was 12 days old meaning a bunch of articles got lost. The last few days we´ve been pushing hard to get articles back on the site. Some old, some new, but it looks like we´re back on track. Enjoy the site and feel free to contribute your BMX articles. Otherwise we´ll have to start making up stories to keep our promises. It´s winter you know, and not too much is happening over here in Holland.
Last week the Premium Team (Joe Riley, Matt Colisch, Ben Hucke, Ryan Mills, Jake Farley, Vince Kroff) began filming for the new Premium DVD. Tulsa, OK: The Sunday night showdown at the OK corral saw Redline's mightiest gunslingers walk away with three silver Cup's; marking them as the Best of the Best when it comes to BMX racing.
NO.1 PRO BATTLE: As everyone expected, the chase for the Pro Cup came down to the three mains, between Kyle Bennett and defending Champ Bubba Harris. In the motos, they were pitted against the other on Saturday twice, and Bubba took both wins. A good confidence builder, and a sign of things to come. In the semi's, Kyle won his in dominant fashion, as did Bubba. Which meant the race for the 2005 title would come down to main time, and in ABA tradition -- in dramatic style.

If you've always dreamed of being sponsored by Oakley, this is your chance. Oakley Europe are doing a video contest. If you live in one of the following countries, you are allowed to enter: Iceland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Luxembourg, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Portugal, Spain or France.
You need to get a friend film you and send your footage to Oakley where the best BMX tape will win a year's worth of Oakley stuff. You can give some of that to your buddy with the camera for helping out. In fact, what they are looking for is an edited flick of roughly 30 seconds with all your best tricks in it. You don't have to send the actual tape to Oakley, you can upload your footage through their website.
First prize wins 4000€ worth of Oakley gear, second place gets 3000€ and third ends up with 2000€ euro worth of Oakley gear. They've got 4 BMX videos up at the moment so there is still a chance to win something.
Ron Bonner at The Shadow Conspicary was pretty amazed when he got the word that MTV nominated the The Shadow Conspiracy x Invisible man 24" limited edition cruiser for best X-mas present of 2005.
"That is already after Vapors magazine nominated the bike for the top ten best Collaborations of 2005. Shadow not only leading the way in function and fashion in BMX but Shadow is taking BMX in to the proper direction BMX needs to head. Meaning not mass market crap but along the street fashion boutique angle which is a way better fit for BMX." says Bonner.
