Eurocamp has been around for a year now. Building up a park from scratch is tough, but things are heading in the right direction in Tossa de Mar, especially now that the Vans rebeljam is coming up. It's like building a new trails spot. It might now be done in a few weeks, but it can only get bigger and better if you put the work in. At Eurocamp there's not just trails to ride, but a pump track, spine, park course and some smaller street stuff as well. It can only grow from here, and it will. It's paradise already so check out the pics to get a better idea of the place:
The last couple of weeks we've spent on the road and haven't had one drop of rain yet. It's very unique in Europe. I know this doesn't happen often in Holland, and certainly not in the UK. That's why opening up your own indoor place to ride is a big thing. The 4Down crew, in cooperation with etnies, now have their own indoor place so evening and winter sessions can go on without any hassles from security guards, or that stupid wet stuff.
It's tough to complain about the heat when you've been cussing about the shitty weather a few weeks earlier. But towards the evening it cooled off enough to get a session in with the visiting pros at Eurocamp. Non other than Stefan Lantschner and Ruben Alcantara geared up for some blasting around the park together with Perico and the other riders at Eurocamp. It's always a blast seeing these guys shred around the park at full speed stylin' it up. Do yourself a favour and put a visit to Eurocamp on your calendar.
Terry Adams recently did a Redbull Wal-Mart tour. He gave us a quick rundown:"We basically hit 4 walmarts in 2 days doing a demo at each stop. At each location I held a twitter contest and the winner was award my signature complete "flatware waltz" bike at the end of each demo. It was so rad to bring a flatland show to a unique place like Wal-Mart & actually give back to BMX in a big way by giving away a legit complete bike at each stop. Thanks to RedBull, My MC Scott O'brien, & Odyssey,
