The Olympic BMX race is coming up and the athletes are getting ready for it. They've trained hard to get where they are and on the way there they are meeting some interesting people. Donny Robinson met Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger with Team USA at Jose State University where athletes stopped off for Team Processing en route to Beijing for the Olympics that begin Friday, 8.8.08. Each year, the AMERICAN BICYCLE ASSOCIATION inducts two legendary BMX racers from the past, along with one influential Industry person in to the Official BMX Hall of Fame. Inductees are voted in by the BMX community, BMX press and past inductees from a nominee ballot. The ABA`s Special Recognition inductees are selected by the Hall of Fame committee. The Hall of Fame induction ceremonies take place each year in November, at a special dinner prior to the ABA Grands.

Roger Rinderknecht received his final go to attempt the BMX race competition of the Olympic Games today. The Swiss silver medalist of the 2008 mountain bike 4X World Championships can’t wait to make his way to China. In its final selection round, the Swiss Olympic committee chose Roger Rinderknecht to take part in the BMX competition.
