Racing's back on the cover of the March issue of BMX Plus! magazine and it's Jeremy Rommel who gets it. Some people out there make BMX racing look good and Rommel's one of them. In this issue the BMX Plus! Riders of the year are announced. They gave away big prices to the winners years ago (cars, motorcycles) but I'm afraid it has changed as it's not such a big deal anymore. Giving away a car would change that. A bunch of bikes get tested and inspected. Dennis Enarson's Haro SD, Corey Martinez' United receive a bike check and the test crew got to work with a Premium Inception and an MCS Tracer Pro complete bike. The biggest race in BMX is the USA BMX Grand Nationals (formerly the ABA grands) and BMX Plus! made it over to Oklahoma to witness the biggest pro section on a BMX track ever. The first issue of 2014 has Shawn McIntosh grind a spot that noone has grinded before. That rail saw plenty of action but then the yellow poles were installed. But it's hard to stop the street dudes. RIDE UK sends out a teaser of their new magazine that yet has to show up in the newsstands and bike shops. They want to beat the readers snapping a photo of the cover with their phone to post it on their Myspace. With issue #184 you can win a Sunday bike, they'll show you how the rush skatepark was built and RIDE shows you what you can find on Google Earth. There's way more to be discovered. A bit ago we received a message that the digital version of DIG98 was waiting for us. Now our subscription has run out so instead of finding the contents list and a cover shot, we only got to see the thumbnail of the cover. The fact that it was a trail issue made me want to see the magazine even more. The hard copy has not arrived yet and as usual it will drop in the mail just as you say it hasn't yet arrived. But for now we have the content list so all you dirt lovers will know what's coming.
