It's been a week almost but the week flew by so we're sorry about the delay of the Verre Oosten Jam report here on FATBMX. It wasn't just a BMX jam at the Burnside park this time around as Lennard Gols and Gerwin "George" Lucas were premiering their Dutch BMX documentary that evening as well. It took me 2 hours before I even set a step inside the indoor park. Some street obstacles were placed in the street in from of the shop together with a bar, benches, fireplace and a BBQ. With BMX minded people around, what else do you need? After catching up and missing most of the contest inside I placed myself on a quarter to shoot some pictures as I didn't want to go home empty handed. While the comp went on in an other section of the park (I believe Daniel Wedemeijer won something with an alley oop wall slap and Franky Elshout won best trick with a canonball jump) riders used the free space to blast on the QP. It was good to see so many riders showed up. It showed that the Dutch scene is a healthy one. The Verre Oosten jam kicked off the season well and from here on out it's full throttle till the end of summer.
