BMX Dirt Finals went off tonight under the lights in downtown Salt Lake City at the Dew Tour Toyota Challenge. Brett Banasiewicz came out on top in front of a standing room only crowd on the dirt course. His second run of the night stood out among the rest, as he landed a 360 off the roll-in, a front flip no-hander with a clap behind his back, a 720 and a cash roll. His total score of 92.31 beat out Dennis Enarson, who finished second with a 91.57.
Brandon Dosch took the third spot with a score of 91.50.
“It feels great,” said
Banasiewicz following his win on the challenging and technical course designed by BMX legend
TJ Lavin.
“I had trouble in the very beginning but I got through it and I pulled the run I wanted. I’m glad I won and I can’t wait for Vegas.” Banasiewicz’s win puts him in second place in the overall Dew Tour BMX dirt standings heading into the Championships next
