It sucks starting off a story about the weather but I can't help but do it anyway. It's been great over here in The Netherlands and people are using it to their advantage. The fact that it's possible to ride in daylight till 9pm is a good bonus. Sessions at the Helm Trails have kicked off. Tuesdays and Thursdays are the nights that people get together to ride. Today was a good one, it almost felt like there was a jam going on as you had to wait your turn to have a go at the well shaped lines. Not all is done yet, so feel free to grab a shovel or go get some water from the canal, but it was about the riding tonight, and riding needs to be done as well. Especially with the Open Dutch BMX Championships coming up on 1 May.
Call it testing, call it training, call it whatever you want, the session was good fun. Let's hope the weather stays like this for a while. I doubt it will, but use it to the fullest to get some riding in. We're looking forward to see you at the Helm Trails on 1 May at the latest but hopefully sooner to make sure all the lines work well.
