To date, Greenville's BMX accolades include 34 professional locals, 21 X Games Gold Medals and countless other contest wins.
"Little do people know that our small city out in Eastern North Carolina is home to the top BMX athletes in the world, and we want to celebrate that," said Mayor Pat Dunn. "There is a sense of pride that we feel whenever we watch Greenville's own compete in top contests each year."

Those interested in participating as a competitor in the Trans Jam BMX Contest can find more information on the contest website www.transjambmx.com. Park Course classes include Beginner, Amateur, Veterans, Womens, and Pro. Flatland classes include Beginner, Amateur, and Pro. Each class will compete for prizes. Pro Purse is $5,000 split between Park and Flatland.
The Atlantic Bike Stunt Alliance is committed to promoting the sport of BMX around the globe through exhibitions, special events and festivals, and competitions. The Trans Jam BMX Contest Series is owned and operated by the ABSA.
