All in one-flatland and clubbing. The best German riders and some european and international guest stars will be invited to have a hot battle in the hippest or even biggest club of the current city. Furthermore there will be interesting side-events like breakedance-shows and much more. After the contest riders and the audience can celebrate together. FBR LEGEND DVD COMING SOON…
Front Brake Revolution Ltd are proud to release exclusive information about their forthcoming DVD release entitled: “LEGEND.
The film documents the recent Front Brake Revolution Jam held at the legendary Rampage Skatepark. The FBR Euro team travel from London to Chicago and beyond, on a journey to the most famous skatepark in the world, for one of the most talked about BMX events of all time. In one last furious session, the worlds greatest technical ramp riders come together to ride at the monumental FBR Rampage Jam and bid farewell to the longest running freestyle facility in America.
The video features interviews and groundbreaking riding from definitive front brake riders including:
At the old Bicycle Stunt Contests there was an unwrtten vert rule that if you could walk away from the contest, you didn't try hard enough! All riders were hucking themselves in positions that were hopeless but it all contributed to the level of vert riding. With foam pits and resi sections around, the hucking is saved for the foam, not the wood. Foam free rider Simon Tabron organized a vert jam at his local ramp which resembles of the old B.S. contests. No foam, different vert classes, loads of fun and most riders getting injured. We checked in with Simon to see how the Spin Like Hell jam went.
FATBMX: With Vert being Dead, it seems like there are a lot of halfpipe jams/shows/contests going on in 2005. What made you decide to have your own event?
One more from the old box.
This BMX Action subscription ad shows some riders "getting rad". That's what it was called back in the day. With a camera around the riders pushed a bit harder to get on that HOT SHOT page. These bail photos showed up in the Subscription advertisement.
It would be cool if current publishers could still send a monthly magazine oversees for an extra $ 4,= USD. per year. Times have changed.

Over twenty years ago Mongoose came out with a set of wheels that had rims that were 17% lighter. This weight saving was accomplished by drilling holes in between the spoke holes. Saving ounces on rolling weight is extra beneficial so the idea was a good one. With single wall rims it was even possible to use different colour ribbons to match the paint job of your ride.
