While on the road I usually bring the computer to start downloading the pictures of the digital camera and to start messing around with the article. As long as I've got the laptop with me I know I won't be wasting any time at the airport or in a hotel room. The Aldi computer also plays DVD's and while sharing a room with Andy Zeiss in Munich, he threw the "Building the Underground" DVD on the table. I popped it in and hit play.
The Origin production is a DVD that focuses on the North-West scene of the USA. This scene has loads of concrete parks to ride but also incredible trails making this a must have for every trail rider that also messes around on street/park. The video shows that the big downhill trails are not only built in Pennsylvania.
The footage is great as is the music. The riders in the video are not all big name dudes, there are plenty of locals who shred the trails with too
We would like to invite you all to the fn|05 freestyle-night in the jumpin, the biggest waterramp in europe in Mettmenstetten, Switzerland. After the big success in the last year with more than 1500 spectators, the freestyle-night will be the third time on July, the 9th. Because of contracts with a lot of new sponsors, the event will be even bigger and more attractive for spectators and riders.
Like last year, you can fight in the disciplines bmx, snowboard, freeskiing and aerials for the famous freestyle-night-crown. The eight best riders in the qualification round, which starts at 7 p.m., in each discipline, will arrive the big final rounds in the evening. Freestyle.ch speaker Chris Bachmann will animate the big crowd. The riders will fight in three ko-rounds for the win. You are judged by five good judges.
Millencolin CD "Kingwood"
Out for a while but since Koji Kraft told me this is one of his favourite bands it is time to give a review so he can have this CD.
The Swedish guys from Millencolin are always touring, now they are in the Vans Warped Tour and just back from a tour in the US. In between the busy schedule they made this album: "Kingwood".
12 new songs with my favourites Simple Twist of Hate and Hard Times it is obvious that these guys play a lot and are working as a real team. Frederik, Erik, Mathias and Nikola are loving the Punkrock life and hope to meet you somewhere on the road.

Fox’s first-ever Land, Air, Sea Tour kicked off and has already logged several thousand successful miles on its quest to bring Fox’s stable of world-class athletes to local markets throughout the US and Canada in an effort to grow action sports and increase brand awareness by executing exciting demos, music and lifestyle events.
The key ingredient to the Land, Air, Sea Tour is Fox’s custom 40-foot Tour Bus that is loaded with state-of-the-art amenities including a booming 2,200 watt Rockford Fosgate sound system, stylish interior featuring Fox print fabric, and an exclusive VIP athlete lounge that is basically a club on wheels.
Tony Hawk's promise of this year's Boom Boom Huck Jam going bigger, faster and badder officially came true last night as the tour rolled into its 5th city, Anaheim, CA. The crowds were hyped, the riders were out of their minds and the energy from the Arrowhead Pond could be felt all the way to Disneyland.
Before the show even starts there is in an interactive village that,
although it said you needed a show ticket to get in, basically anyone
could get into it. And as we were walking to the village, I spot
The Uci BMX Super Cross event was last weekend and what an event it was! We are talking an amazing track, perfect weather, and most of the best riders in the world! This race was the first race to show the riders the new Olympic format. There will be some differences when the Olympics come but for the most part it was the same. We had over 50 Elite riders here this weekend and that made for some intense racing action! Our first moto was our 1/8th final, and then we went into 3 rounds of quarters, one semi, and one main. Here is how my day played out!
Right before my 1/8th I broke the cleat on my shoe. I tried to fix it but couldn't and had to race the moto with it broke. It made for an interesting lap as I had to come from behind to make it. I finished 2nd.
Quarters: First quarter, I was still working on my bike and showed up

If you're talking countries there are not that many places left in the world where bmx tours haven't left marks, but Poland is one of them. Only recently invited into the EU, it's a country still heavily influenced by previous communist ideology and the architecture is becoming an incredible mix of both stereotypical East and West.
I don't want to give the false impression, or hang on stereotypes but East Europe remains a through route to much criminal activity. But such images are built on the minority (as ever) because as we learnt, the country is incredibly rich in culture, really genuine people who'll do anything to help and spots that have never been seen outside it's previously difficult borders.
