The sport of BMX has arguably been transformed in recent years, as it has been given a major platform. At the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, it was made a discipline that could be competed in and it has grown ever since. The 2024 Paris Olympic Games is just around the corner and it has been included once again on the list of events. This will have excited many who enjoy the sport, as well as those who like to enhance their sports betting experiences at the Summer Games. BMX’ing offers their fans who enjoy to show their support through wagering on the Sports Interaction Canada platform the chance to back on athletes competing for the Gold medal in Paris, with top contenders like Niek Kimmann and Mariana Pajón standing out in their respective divisions.
The Popularity of Freestyle BMX
However, while the Olympic Games has perhaps helped to grow the racing side of the sport, there are many worldwide who have enjoyed the freestyle aspect of the sport. Indeed, the freestyle aspect of the discipline is in relation to the skill side of things, where competitors show off the tricks and skills they have on two wheels. Competitors will have just 60 seconds to do as much as they can and wow the judges. The Olympic Games does feature an event that will see the best show what they can do, with it being one of the newest events on the calendar. It made its inaugural debut in Tokyo three years ago, and will once again be on the schedule this time around. It will take place at La Concorde, the same venue in which the basketball 3x3, breaking, and skateboarding will be held.

Do you remember the moment that you decided to start collecting BMX memorabilia?
Bob Lipsett Jr.: Exactly when! I bumped into my buddy 2 years ago that I used to ride with back in 1980. We were talking about his business and what I do and he made mention that he just bought a new SE racing PK Ripper. I instantly thought of my 1981 Super goose that I lost in my parents divorce when I was 12 so from that day until now I've been back involved with late seventies an early '80s BMX racers,
