Vans, the original action sports footwear and apparel brand, is honored to join Coastal Edge and the entire action sports community in a celebration of heritage and camaraderie at the 52nd Coastal Edge East Coast Surfing Championships (CE-ECSC) presented by Vans on August 17-24, 2014. On Sunday we drove to Hollywood. We haven't done too many toursit things on our trip but this was definitely one of them. We saw 10 Spidermen, a couple of guys dressed up as Batman, Rambo, Minions, a Lego dude, Captain hook and lots of other people who wanted to get a photo with me. Bunch of clowns! We got back in time for another session at the trails. We hit up Keith Mulligan to see if he wanted to join us. He said okay. When we got to the trails, there were about 15 people there!
After doing a BMX 'zine for ten years (1987 - 1996) FATBMX made it on the internet. The year was 1998. Here to stay.
