August 7th, 2007 – Temecula, CA SNAFU BMX IS PROUD TO WELCOME SHAUN WHITE…WAIT, WAIT, WAIT….I MEAN PRO BMX RIPPER JEREMIAH SMITH TO THE TEAM! SNAFU BMX is proud to announce that Jeremiah Smith has joined the Pro Team for 2007. Jeremiah calls Cincinnati, Ohio home but between riding contests and spending time at Woodward East this Midwest rider is all over the place. Jeremiah is a dialed rider and a super nice guy.
Holy smokes, do we have a good one for you. The Rebel Jam is coming up shortly and in cooperation with FATBMX supporter wethepeople and La Finca distribution we are having a new contest on FATBMX. This will not be an easy one because the prize is just great and some effort needs to be made to win. First of all, you need to go to the Rebel Jam. The wethepeople complete bike will be given away to the winner of the FATBMX competition right before the finals on Sunday. 
The 6th Annual Boyley Jam, is taking place in Hastings ( UK ) on the 18th August. Just like previous years, it is set to be a chilled out vibe on the sidelines, with plenty of riding going down on the park! This year there will also be a raffle to win a FIT FLOW PARK complete bike, and also LTD EDITION S&M TEES on sale, with all proceeds going to the Stephen Murray Family Fund, one good cause helping another.. Andreas Stevens p.k.a. dj greyboy and partner Patrick Freitas p.k.a. dj truly odd....are both hip hop dj/ producers, but also both love bmx!! 'old school' especially, and they decided that SIDEHACKS needed a revival and skateparks seemed the obvious next level. They have been having a killer time experimenting and are sharing their pics with FATBMX. The FATBMX crew used to ride sidehacks too but that was before you were born (1978) and we're not considering a comeback like Andreas and Patrick.

I remember seeing the X games back in 1996 on TV and thinking how cool all the Schwinn guys looked with matching gear. Ever since I have been in America I knew I must go and see at least one X Games. Since Bart's friend Michael De Wit couldn't make it this year I filled in. I have managed to avoid LA for 3 years now but it was inevitable. I woke at 4:30am to catch a flight that never left on time and somehow lost my cellphone along the way.

Robinson Named Most Outstanding Athlete of 2007 X-Games. Receives car.

At the medal ceremony that followed, BMX Freestyle rider Kevin Robinson was named Subaru's Most Outstanding Athlete of X Games 13. He will receive a 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX. Robinson won gold in this year's BMX Freestyle Big Air event and bronze in the BMX Freestyle Vert competition, where he landed a double flair. He remains the only rider in the world who has successfully landed the trick in competition.
