NASS is a strange event in many ways. I love going as much as I hate going. I love going to hang out with friends, watch some good bike riding, get drunk & have good times. I hate going because the food is over-priced crap, I hate camping and the place is (apart from the BMX crowd) full of assholes. This years NASS was not any different.
Shaun, Chip & myself arrived at Shepton Mallet around 3pm on the Friday of the event. After finally getting passes sorted through the most bizarre system ever found where we were allowed to set up camp for the weekend. Now, I’ve NEVER slept in a tent let alone put one up so I wasn’t much help to Shaun as he busted out the bad boy 2 room tent complete with airbeds, table & chairs, camping stove, BBQ & pretty much everything we needed for the weekend.
No riding went down on the Friday so after we had some food from our badass BBQ we headed over to the Braun Airstream to meet up with friends for party time! 2 bottles of Jack & many hours later I was out for the count in the tent whilst Shaun went out grooming alone.
