With rain showing up at the end of group 3 on Saturday, the plan was to move it up into the night. Just when everything had dried up it started to rain again and plan B was to start first thing in the morning. For most of the riders 8am is pretty damn early but when Jay Miron and Paul Roberts ask you to cooperate after you've been flown to the other side of the world for a contest, you just say; "No Problem." The bar looked pretty empty on Saturday night and at 00:30am it was just BiBi and myself finishing up our last drink. Bibi had already ridden his qualifying session and didn't have to get on the bike at 8am.

I was surprised to see everyone at breakfast in the morning and at 8am riders were rolling around on the street course "warming up" for their runs. After filming a little TV introduction Matt Beyers had the opportunity to start off the day with his last tricks. Rain showed up on Saturday right before last tricks in his group. 

During the Bike Week Tilburg 2007 the Liberation Jam will be organized in co-operation with the Tilburg Liberation Festival. The festival will take place on May the 5th 2007, in the center of Tilburg. The festival attracts 15.000 to 20.000 spectators/visitors and offers a combination of music, lifestyle, culture and sports. The Libertion Jam is a best trick contest, with a set-up like the Red Bull Bridge Masters. That means there's a roll-in, followed by a jumpbox with a landing, followed by a quarter. At 16 o'clock the best trick contest will start. Each riders has several runs and at the end a jury (and the crowd) decides the winner... 

Gilbert, Arizona—April, 2007— The American Bicycle Association (ABA) and American Suzuki Motor Corporation, the official Motorcycle and ATV of the 2007 ABA Bicycle Motocross (BMX) Racing Series, will be conducting an exciting promotional contest among all ABA tracks based on the East, West and Central regions. All 274 ABA tracks across North America will be challenged to create and execute a promotional program, which enhances participation at their local track. Tracks will then document their promotional campaign and report on the success of their efforts to the ABA by September 28, 2007.

There's a good reason why you haven't seen REDLINE's SHANAZE READE at a BMX track for the past month. Her and fellow British Cycling teammates had been putting in some "track" time of another kind. At the Track Cycling World Championships being held in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, Shanaze was paired up with Victoria Pendleton to compete in the Womens Team Sprint. TRACK, you say? It's not what you think--this one has no dirt or jumps, but does feature high banked berms.

Things are heating up here at the Phoenix hotel. Arm wrestling is going on. It will be moments before the cops come. Everyone's getting there so it's good it's the last night at this hotel. Dhers got beat by Dillewaard (Australia) and when it was Aussie - Aussie it was three times dirt X-Games champ Bohan beating 2005 Dew Tour champ Guettler. Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oi Oi Oi. We are told to calm down otherwise the lobby/bar will be shut down. Wish we had live noise. Bring it! Dhers against Napolitan right now. Mirra is the judge. He's suggesting left handed. Who do you have your money on???

We have officially moved to a new office in Cypress. Meaning that we went from a 30.000 sq ft to a 100.000 sq ft office...Although there is still some construction going on, it it nice to have a little more breathing room... Also in the plan is a top notch ramp, exclusively for the team riders and employees...here's a photo of the front, which will be customized and logo'd out on a asap bases... CHANDLER, Ariz. – The City of Chandler will dedicate its new BMX/Freestyle bike riding facility on Saturday, May 5, 2007, with a morning of professional rider demonstrations, giveaways, and a ribbon cutting ceremony. The Chandler Bike Park is located at 450 E. Knox Rd., and it is in the City’s Espee Park.

 The free festivities are open to the public and begin at 8:30 a.m. with professional riders showing off their skills.
