Ten years of BMX freestyle domination. From when to when was that?
DMC: From my rookie pro year in '86 through the end of 1995. The last year there was an overall title.

If there would be a BMX Hall of Fame, you would be the first person on the wall. Do you care about something like that?
DMC: Thanks for the compliment. History is important and should be remembered, but it can also be easily manipulated, so I try to place more emphasis on the present. Irving Feffer summed it up best when he said:

It took 9 months and 9 days extra for Boyd de Jong to see this world. Paul de Jong and Carry van Cuyck are now the proud parents of Boyd. Boyd was born today at 12:45pm and weighed in at a little over 9 pounds. Both baby and mother are doing well. If your Paul's Boutique order isn't shipped the same day this week, you know why.

We're proud on the expansion of the De Jong family. 

Madison, Wis. – Jan., 2007 – Mongoose dirt and street rider Cam White is putting together the mother of all Freestyle BMX Jams on February 3, and the event’s proceeds all go to Support Kids with Cancer charity. The Jam starts at 4 p.m. on February 3 in Wamboin, Australia – 20 minutes from Canberra, Australia’s capital city. All proceeds made from the Hillside Jam’s BBQ and bike auction will be donated to Camp Quality, a charity to benefit children with cancer.

“I’ve been wanting to put together a big jam like this for a long time,” said White. “It’s been a big job, coordinating with the city, bringing in the dirt and the tools -- basically creating this thing from scratch. But it’s going to be a lot of fun and it will help kids that really need help.”

The BMX element consists of massive downhill jumps, fun lines and transfers built from 30 tons of dirt and a big deck roll-in. Think Red Bull’s Whistler contest but better.

When did you move from England to the USA?
Ali: 8TH 0F FEB 2004 WAS WHEN MY VISA WAS ISSUED, THEN I FLEW OUT A FEW DAYS LATER AND GOT A PHONE AND A TRUCK AND MOVED INTO AN APARTMENT IN STATE COLLEGE WITH MY LADY....

Was it time for a change or what was the exact reason for you to leave the UK?
Ali: I WAS SPONSERED BY VANS USA AND WAS GETTING DOLLARS FROM THEM AND LIVING IN ENGLAND, SO WHEN THAT GOT EXCHANGED INTO POUNDS IT DIDN'T GO VERY FAR BECAUSE OF THE WEAK EXCHANGE RATE. I WANTED TO ENTER MORE COMPS AND TRAVEL THE US, SO I PACKED UP AND SET OFF AND TRAVELED ALL OVER AMERICA..I JUST WANTED TO LIVE OUT MY DREAMS, SO I DID
