Wethepeople Bike Co. are pleased to announce the addition of Brian Tunney to the brand. Tunney will serve as U.S. team manager for both wethepeople and Éclat components, in addition to working closely with wethepeople's design and development teams. Tunney will continue to work from his home office in New Jersey, with periodic visits to the wethepeople headquarters in Cologne, Germany. "Since I met Brian, I haven't met too many other people who know so much about BMX. Aside from having a good overseas friend for almost ten years, we're finally getting the chance to work together and put our passion for BMX into these new projects," says wethepeople owner/ art director Klaus Dyba.

A BMXer since 1986, Tunney has competed in pro competitions throughout the world, filmed numerous video sections and enjoyed success as both a rider and in the industry. 

Well, here it is. First of all, one million apologies for the delay. It really took more than we expected. Choosing the best distributor for Flybikes was not easy. We had to think about many things, but we couldn´t be happier with the result. Good things usually take time…. Flybikes will now be distributed through QBP and GREENHOUSE. Both distributors are already receiving stock in about 10 days so shops can go ahead and contact them.

The reason we have chosen two distributors are many. One important one is that it will be easier to have stock of all our stuff available all the time. This was something that we needed to improve. Most of the shops already know about QBP; how well they work and their amazing values, especially on environmental issues. I wish all the companies would follow their steps….

Introducing Éclat, a fresh new component brand from the creative forces behind wethepeople bike company. Based at wethepeople's international headquarters in Cologne, Germany, Éclat will exist as a separate entity, manufacturing an innovative collection of seats, brakes, grips, hubs, rims, tires, pedals and brake levers, with plans to expand coming further this year. To begin, Éclat will be represented by Portland, Oregon's Chester Blacksmith and the UK's Ashley Charles, with the initial collection of components arriving to retailers by late summer of 2008.

On March 29th I will open my new Shop called ALLIANCE BMX in my hometown Bremen, Germany. My longtime friend Magga will help me out and is my 1st employee for the days I don't like to work myself. German BMX-Mailorder PARANO-GARAGE likes to introduce his new employee Sergej Geier, better known as Siggi. He did his apprenticeship at a big office store in his hometown Delmenhorst, and changed now into a business, that he enjoys most. Moving to Oldenburg changed his whole life. Now he is sharing his flat with Orchid Teammate Markus "Monkey" Braumann, can always ride with a couple of friends and work in the BMX-shop, in which he
