The event will also host the FFC BMX Freestyle Park Championship on Friday 27th, before a weekend dedicated to the FFC BMX Freestyle Park and Flatland French Cup, as well as a BMX Dirt contest. FISE XPERIENCE SERIES 2019: The last stop of the French FISE tour will provide an Olympic opportunity. It's time to wrap the 2019 FISE French tour, and the final rendez-vous will be in Reims from the 27th to the 29th of September. Last but not least, the event will be labelled C1 by UCI, as well as being part of the FFC French Cup.
The event provides another occasion for BMX Freestyle Park riders to grab some points on the way to Tokyo 2020. The end of the qualification process is coming quickly, and it will be the last occasion in France to get points, so we can be sure to see some top international athletes competing. Accell Group has sold its US business along with 3 bike brands to the Californian investment group, Regent. The 3 bike brands included in the sale is Redline Bicycles, DiamondBack and iZip. Although these three are being sold, Accell has kept its tight-fisted grip on Raleigh and a number of other famous brands.

Cadenazzo, a town in Switzerland, will be the venue of the first Freestyle BMX European Championships, a discipline that will also be part of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic programme. The event will be held from 10 to 13 October and will also count as a qualification event for the Olympic Games. A huge number of riders and fans from all over Europe will travel to the Canton of Ticino, to a modern facility designed to enhance the great show that this discipline has to offer and like for this event, to host international competitions. The programme includes two days of competition with the eliminations Saturday 12th and the finals on Sunday 13th. Friday 11th is reserved as practice day for the competitors.

Yup Yup, we're back for the 31st edition of the FATJAM. Saturday 24 August is the day that BMX unites at the Sugar Hills trails in Aarle-Rixtel, Netherlands. Why stop when we need grassroots BMX events more than ever to keep the scene alive. The 31st edition will be one to remember, just like any of the previous 30 editions. It is what you make of it and people know that a lot is possible in Aarle-Rixtel and not having a good time is hard. We will start around 13:00hr with the dirt session at the Valkendijk in Aarle-Rixtel. The Sugar Hills will be well prepped for the session and it has something for everyone. That's the beauty of the FATJAM in fact, 5 year old kids and veteran pros push their bikes up to the starting hill to have as many goes down the trails as they want.
Everything's free; no entry fee, no parking fee, no registration free and yes you can bring your own food and drinks. It's the best family trip of the year. If you're old enough, you might even score a free Red Bull. Also this year we've got great support from companies who are donating goodies for the best shredders on the trails. The Killer Jump will get to see some killer action. We've got music blasting, we've got tents for shade, now we want you to catch up with. The gathering lasts till around 18:00hr when it's time to hit the local snackbar before going to OJA for the evening activities.

USA Cycling announced today that famed Freestyle BMX rider, Ryan Nyquist will be joining the organization as the BMX Freestyle Head Coach. Nyquist will play a key role in the program, organizing and accompanying riders to camps as well as domestic and international competitions. He will also work with internal staff to create selection procedures and ensure that athletes are getting the support they need on and off the bike.
“Ryan is in a unique position to continue riding at a high level while coaching,” said Vice President of Elite Athletics for USA Cycling, Scott Schnitzspahn, “We are excited to have him on staff serving as a coach and mentor and for him to be able to pass along over two decades of knowledge and experience to our Elite BMX Freestyle Athletes.”
Nyquist, a respected member of the freestyle BMX community, member of the UCI BMX Freestyle Commission, and the UCI Men’s BMX Freestyle BMX Athlete Representative, is a 16-time X Games medalist, three-time World Champion, an ESPY Award Winner, and has won nearly every major BMX Freestyle title at least once since turning pro in 1996.
