The UCI is pleased to announce the opening of the newly reconstructed BMX track at the World Cycling Centre in Aigle, Switzerland. The UCI track construction team, under the leadership of official UCI track builder Tom Ritzenthaler, has created a replica of the 2008 Olympic Games track. With the help of the official suppliers; Caterpillar Rental Store, Layher© scaffolding, Pro-Gate© and Murphy Productions Inc, the track was completed in April, and is now available for the UCI’s high-level athletes and any team wishing to come and train.

NASS IS BACK! On its 10th year anniversary NASS is heading back to the South West for 3 days of awe inspiring action sports events and a whole heap of music entertainment to keep the fun going through the night. The destination, the Bath and West Show Ground Shepton Mallet Somerset. For all the BMX bandits there is back to back action over all 3 days. Saturday will see BMX take to the stage with top riders from around the world showing their skills for big prize money and the Dirty Dozen Trophy. Whether you ride dirt or street we’ve got in covered!

Baco was insane enough to never have it again @ Jellystone or Neighborhood skatepark. With a superman midget, mother daughter strippers, water balloons, and riding the slides before the water was turned on, we had our last Baco. This isn't the first time we have been banned, and sure as hell not the last. I am not bummed but more or less happy that everyone came out and rode awesome and partied even harder. Baco will live on and find another location that can handle what is dished out.

We do have a location that is possible for this Halloween, an old girls scout camp. No there is no girls scouts left, but that would be a good costume. They heard the news about the Baco ban and would love to cater to our contest. They have started building already, so stay tuned.

Victoria, BC –The official track for the 2007 UCI BMX World Championships received rave reviews from the Canadian National BMX team today. Six of Canada’s top BMX riders were the first to hit the track at today’s unveiling ceremony at the Juan de Fuca Recreation Centre. “We’re excited to have the track open,” said David Richardson, President of the Victoria BMX 2007 World Championships Society. “Feedback on the track has been fantastic,” said Richardson.

When we faced some technical difficulties on Monday, I immediately sent an e-mail, an Instant Message and an SMS phone message to our kick ass webmaster Jos Wissink/Four05 . Usually it doesn't take long for Jos to reply and get things back to normal but this time it took a bit longer, and for good reason. Jos was in the hospital with his wife Wendy who was about to deliver a new baby. Lori Wissink was born on Monday 04 June at 14:10pm. She weighed 3400 grams at birth and was 50cm tall. All is going well. Congrats to the Wissink family.

No Clips BMX Racing Yes, No Clips BMX was back in the UK for one night only at Bournemouth on Sat 26th May on the eve of the National weekend. The scene was set and the riders ready at the newly re-vamped Bournemouth track. To give the crowd a slicker show we went with a two moto qualifying system into the next round and used the breaks to send the crowd wild with the givaways which has become traditional at Uk No Clips races, we had loads of goodies from all the sponsors and a frame set from Dialled Bikes which was given away after the final.
