Scotty Cranmer is pretty sick. The Felt rider had to see the doctor twice this week already because he was throwing up 4 times a day. Just kidding of course. Scotty came through with another good video clip that was provided by Felt BMX . It has Cranmer riding some white banks and the tech factor is going through the roof once again. Check it.

The American Bicycle Association is proud to announce the addition of Greg Leasure to the ABA Track Director Department. With the recent increase in both membership and tracks the ABA is excited that Greg has accepted a position as Track Director. The ABA Track Director Department is responsible for growing the sport at the grass roots level and offering all aspects of service and support to ABA tracks. Greg comes to the ABA with a wealth of knowledge and experience. He has been involved with the sport of BMX since the 1980’s and still races today in both class and cruiser. Greg is also one of ABA's top national officials. ABA President, Clayton John said this of the recent hire, "We are very excited to welcome Greg to our team. I am confident that he will be a great addition to the ABA and the tracks will benefit from his professionalism and experience in the sport." Greg said, “I am thrilled about this opportunity and look forward to building relationships with ABA tracks and offering them superior customer service and support.”

FBM are going to get together with the Bicycle Film Festival in NYC, on May 19th. and help put together a BMX end of the event, including some video Showings, a submissions contest, and a Bunny hop Contest outside the theatre, where we will be putting up cash for a winner, and throwing some other small comps as well.

Do you feel you get to travel internationally more often because of it?

We received an e-mail from the Tuff Bros who informed us about an indoor contest that will take place on 13-15 April in Hannover, Germany. There's all kind of good stuff going on (cocktails, BBQ and sleeping in the heated hall) so next to riding the park and entering a Best trick contest or two, you should be having a good time.

A whole bunch of sponsors have lined up to support the event so you might even win a cool prize if you enter in class A or class B.  The Yard-Hall has recently been modified so if you haven't been there for a while you might want to check it out.

Just wanted to send out a last minute reminder about the Flatland Contest during the Toronto International Bicycle Show in Toronto this weekend. The CFO is presenting the "Flatland's Unlimited" contest series the entire weekend of March 2, 3 and 4th. Chase Gouin will be on site providing flatland demos and Pro Riders will be trying to de-throne Terry Adams and take their share of the 4K pro purse!

You surf the web a bit and then you run into a photo of a girl on a BMX bike. This one was found on the VANS website where they have a girl section.  

The successful Simpel Session BMX freestyle contest that took place in Estonia last month is airing on Fuel TV this week. Catfish did interviews with Mike Spinner, Dave Mirra and others in the Tallinn report so check out the "Weekly Update with Boost Mobile" that started on 24 February and will go on all week airing four times per day. The show is 30 minutes long and edited by Dave Mavro out of five 90-minute tapes.
