Our buddy Michael de Wit is one of the artists to display work at the Dogtown invitational art show at the ASR trade show in San Diego. The exhibition will take place from 9-11 September next. Michael is in good company with art displayed from people like Andy Jenkins, Lance Mountain, Eric Dressen, Jim Muir, Natas Kaupas and C.R. Stecyk.

Every year when we make it down to the FISE it's we take a quick peak at the Grammont bowl for the latest in graffiti land. With the camera on hand we take a few shots as we do a lap around the bowl. Please enjoy the pieces as captured in July 2005.

A director of JUICYVISION.com, Hajime Yamazaki and a photographer of Cream magazine, Yasuyuki "GreenG" Takeo just released their first photo book titled; "SENN Project Vol.1". They said "The concept is "producing an art culture from BMX". It took about a year to correct all shots that were taken all over the world. But we don't stick with the idea of photo book, and we always open to any chances to collaborate with an artist in the different field. That's why it's called "Project". "
12 photos along with 2 pages captions for each photographer are inside of a 12-inch record jacket, that expresses the importance of the relation between BMX and music. Each copy has a serial sticker on it, and limited to 1000 copies. May 2005: Radical Rick gets Radical in BMX Plus! magazine

BMX Plus! magazine used to run a comic called Radical Rick. Every issue had a new episode which was fun to read. Damian! was the artist that produced the BMX cartoons.

Grab On grips had some unique advertisements going on in the early eighties. The BMX magazine ads showed a comic style ad about the Grab On kid. Going by the drawing style we believe it was Bob Haro who did these comics. Enjoy the flashback.

The pieces at legal graffiti spot "De Berenkuil" in Eindhoven keep changing. When driving by I'm trying to spot the new stuff but I never have a camera with me or time to stop. That's why I made the trip down there by bike and put the camera in the backpack.

GreenG's photo exhibition "Hon-po" (means flee-wheeling) is held at Ruby Room, Dougenzaka, Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan from Feb 7th to Feb 28th. The photos are exhibited every Monday during February, (Feb 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th ) from 7pm to 1am.
After doing a BMX 'zine for ten years (1987 - 1996) FATBMX made it on the internet. The year was 1998. Here to stay.
