BMX steals the show at FISE Budapest with UCI BMX Freestyle Park and Flatland contests
With Men’s and Women’s Freestyle BMX heading to the Olympics in Tokyo 2020, Daytwo at our second global tour stop in Budapest, Hungary set the stage to showcase some potential Olympians. During the Women’s Final, livecast host Darryl Nau exclaimed, “Right now it’s so exciting - BMX is not just a male dominant sport, Freestyle BMX is a platform for women to get involved". With eight riders qualified for the final, a calculated and technical performance from 17-year old Lara Lessman cemented her with the gold in Budapest. Two different technical and consistent runs with smooth no foot can-cans, one-footed wall plants and a crankflip/barspin scored the German 84, placing her in 1st position.
Hungary, Budapest at BudaPart - Kopaszi gát - August 18th to 20th. After an incredible first edition in the sunny city of Montpellier (France), the FISE World Series is invading the Hungarian Capital from the 18th to the 20th of August, in the dreamed spot of BudaPart - Kopaszi gát.World Action Sports Festival
This tour is a World Action Sports Festival, which organize amateurs and professional competitions in the following disciplines: BMX Freestyle Park, BMX Freestyle Flatland, Skateboard, Mountain Bike, Roller Freestyle. Each stops is the occasion for riders to performing for an overall ranking, which is rewarding at the end of each year the winner of the tour. According to the core soul of the festival,
