Found myself in the UK last week for a one-off (maybe?) of the BMX Triple Challenge event. Literally landed in London, drove to the event, and then the crew decided the wind was too heavy and we drove to Corby, England, to Adrenaline Alley for a session that was, as you'd expect, not your average session. The wind persisted the following day and most people were pretty stressed about jumping a 30 foot double for the first time with a 20mph headwind, but surprisingly, a decent amount of riding went down.
The three event series known as the BMX Triple Challenge concluded in Denver, Colorado. Big jumps, big tricks, and big slams... the final showdown in Denver was a hell of a warmup for the SX event later in the day.

What a way to end the season! Monster Energy congratulates team rider Daniel Sandoval on claiming the overall series win in the 2022 Monster Energy BMX Triple Challenge on Saturday. At the final stop of the competition series in Denver, Colorado, the 27-year-old from Corona, California, took second place in BMX Dirt to finish the season at the top of the leaderboard. Sandoval also soared above the competition in the Best Trick event and claimed the win.
“Winning the overall title feels pretty good and I’m just happy with the drive I’ve had lately to want to push hard. And to show up and have a trick list so big it’s hard to pick which ones will work for the weekend,” said Sandoval upon winning the 2022 Monster Energy BMX Triple Challenge series title.

Stop two of the biggest BMX dirt show of the year is officially in the books – and our riders claimed both wins! The 27-year-old U.S. National Champion from Corona, California, soared above the competition in a high-stakes final despite winds, rain, and freezing temperatures outside AT&T Stadium Arlington.
The second win of the day went to Monster Energy BMX team rider Pat Casey from Riverside, California. In the heated competition, the 28-year-old BMX icon stomped the day’s best aerial move to claim the trophy.
Oh, it was cold. Very. Cold. Oh, and rain. A steady 35-degrees is not usually conducive for a BMX event, but the show must go on... The Monster Energy BMX Triple Challenge event in Arlington, Texas, happened, but not quite at the normal level.
