T-mobile held three events this year. All of them involved BMX in one form or an other. The last event of the year in Berlin involved park and vert. The park section had ten invited riders who were automatically selected for the head to head contest. One rider (Rafael Adam) had pre-qualified through a special contest and three riders (Harry Main, Sven Lehmann and Luke Padgett) qualified on Friday for the main program.

After the enormous success of the first stop of the Red Bull Backyard Digger in Leende, the Red Bull Diggers and crew traveled all the way up north to Groningen. With the pleasant Sunday afternoon sun beaming down, the most northern trails of Holland were well on their way to become an often-frequented spot! 

When approaching the huge indoor iceskating rink Kardinge, a gigantic artificial mountain rises up from behind. This mountain was once supposed to become an artificial ski course, but these plans have been changed drastically. Right now, a four cross mountainbike course is occupying the mountain, with a downhill course right next to it. Recently, they added a dirt course to it. Stichting Bikepark Groningen brought this to the attention of Red Bull, who decided it would be the perfect location to host the second stop of the Red Bull Backyard Digger. 

Traveling is the best thing ever. It´s been a great week on Props Megatour. Everyone from the team had a blast and really enjoyed all the spots we went to. We had so much luck with the weather over here so we could explore so many new spots during the trip - go figure. In 7 days our team of 6 riders from 6 different countries traveled 7 countries and rode 5 of them. Any questions? Lloyd Ramsay sent over some great pics and a report about Nasty's Stephen Murray jam that took place last weekend but there was more happening on the sidelines. FATBMX's papparazzi man Michael de Wit was present as well and he did get to witness the wet-T-shirt contest in the freezing cold. Here are a few pics of the Vans CEO flipping burgers, Whitesnake working on the fire, Fuzzy on his killer Redline and just people having a good time. Again, it's awesome to see that the BMX family is helping out Stephen Murray and showing their support through and through. 

As we all know Stephen Murray is hurt and health care in America is expensive to say the least. To help him out Cory Nastazio held a jam at his trails in Tehachapi, CA with all proceeds going to Stephen. I was told that the cost of Stephens wheelchair is in the region of $23 000 so every dollar counts. Nastys trails are big. Real big. I saw James Foster take it hard twice but he kept on going and gave the crowd a wind shield wiper. Parslow, White, Lavin, Fuzzy were all there making for a great night of dirt.

The REMAX Fieldcontrol just ended and it was 3 days of pure riding and fun. On Friday we had a riding sesion till 00.00, and the folowing days it was time for the contest.
Both days were very good on riding quality and atmosphere, thanks to the riders that give there maxium and the audience that showed up.
The party at Saturday night was crazy, you should check the photos, but beside that you can see a lot of krazy stuff happened.

With a sold out Joint inside of the Hardrock cafe in Las Vegas, the BMX community got together for another Nora Cup party. 2000 people made it in and there still was a line outside of riders who wanted make it through the door. 2007 was a good one. Many people came over to see who won the Nora Cups this year. Or maybe it was the 1987 - 2007 Skyway Recreation gathering hosted by Mat Hoffman, the Stephen Murray benefit PK Ripper Raffle or Mini Kizz that got them there. Maybe they just came to party.

10 Days ago we were at the finals of the Toyota Challenge Dew Tour in Salt Lake City. We just got our pics back so we started scanning them so you can see them here on FATBMX. Lame excuse. Glad that camera spits out digital images so going to the local photo shop and then scanning picture by picture is a thing of the past. How can we be so late you ask? Good question. Without further delay we bring you the Park photos with some captions that sums up our time at SLC.

The small and peaceful village Leende got woken up ferociously last weekend. After the German Red Bull Backyard Digger series, the diggers did their work at the first of three stop of the Dutch Backyard Digger events to create the perfect dirtspot. An impression of a laid back Sunday afternoon in Brabant, Holland. Leende? Never ever heard of it! Brabant is quite a far ride from Amsterdam. Well hidden behind an innumerable amount of B roads, roundabouts and ultra slow tractors we found the village of Leende.
