Okay, I might be a little biased but I am pretty stoked on the Upstate NY BMX scene. Case in point…today I roll into East Shore Skate Park in Lansing, NY for FBM’s “Joel Barnett’s Upstate Fiasco.” Joel Barnett is one of the FBM riders and is an awesome guy. So here is the scene: the parking lot is jam packed full of cars. People are grilling in the parking lot. There is a BMX swap meet going on and as I arrive I see a rider send it over the head of a guy funneling a beer and clearing the head of FBM legend
