Yup Yup, we're back for the 31st edition of the FATJAM. Saturday 24 August is the day that BMX unites at the Sugar Hills trails in Aarle-Rixtel, Netherlands. Why stop when we need grassroots BMX events more than ever to keep the scene alive. The 31st edition will be one to remember, just like any of the previous 30 editions. It is what you make of it and people know that a lot is possible in Aarle-Rixtel and not having a good time is hard. We will start around 13:00hr with the dirt session at the Valkendijk in Aarle-Rixtel. The Sugar Hills will be well prepped for the session and it has something for everyone. That's the beauty of the FATJAM in fact, 5 year old kids and veteran pros push their bikes up to the starting hill to have as many goes down the trails as they want.
Everything's free; no entry fee, no parking fee, no registration free and yes you can bring your own food and drinks. It's the best family trip of the year. If you're old enough, you might even score a free Red Bull. Also this year we've got great support from companies who are donating goodies for the best shredders on the trails. The Killer Jump will get to see some killer action. We've got music blasting, we've got tents for shade, now we want you to catch up with. The gathering lasts till around 18:00hr when it's time to hit the local snackbar before going to OJA for the evening activities.
If you've never been, it's time to make a plan for 2019. Campsites are close. Check booking.com if you want more comfort. We'll be making updates left and right on our social media channels. @fatbmx on
