Monster Energy’s BMX athletes dominate at FISE in Montpellier, France. Monster Army’s Justin Dowell had an incredible weekend at FISE with a win in the UCI BMX Freestyle Park World Cup, and third place in the Spine Ramp the night before. Rounding out the podium spots are Jose Torres who earned the top spot in Spine Ramp, and Pat Casey with first place in Dirt finals. Teammates Moto Sasaki took third place in UCI BMX Flatland World Cup, and Leandro Moreira took second in Dirt. After qualifying in 10th after the Park Semi Finals, Dowell was one of the first people to ride in the Finals and he set the bar with a score of 91.20. Afterward he anxiously watched as the rest of the heats went down.
The Spine Mini is a classic FISE event that is guaranteed high energy and to bring in the hugest crowd, and this year was no different. Jose Torres blasted to moon, while Mark Webb and Justin Dowell got crazy tech, and that's the beginning...
Some seriously dialed riding went down at the FISE Flatland finals! Dominik Nekolny snagged first with Matthias Dandois and Sasaki Moto scooping up second and third.
Fise world series Spine ramp event is always my highlight the riding is always is NEXT LEVEL. I put it down to a rad DJ with good beats, Catfish on the mic and the riders willing to try new worlds first just to get a reaction from the crowd. The Crowd is all time best!!
UCI BMX FREESTYLE PARK WORLD CUP SEMI FINAL
LOGAN MARTIN against DANIEL DHERS, the song is known. 10 years separate them but it’s only 2 points on this semi final. BRUCE, COLEBORN, LOUPOS, WALKER, ANDREEV, SANDOVAL ; the other riders assured. KEVIN PERAZA managed his run and slipped into the final for the delight of the builders of the park who already imagined him at ease on this park with multiple lines. While waiting for tomorrow's big show, we are looking forward to the return of BEN WALLACE but we regret the broken of IREK RISAEV who had qualified first the day before. The french crowd favorite ANTHONY JEANJEAN did not reiterate the same perfomance as the day before but we can not wait to see him again at the next stage in Budapest.
