Once in a lifetime we get to experience a phenomenon - something so profound in it's actions and so deeply rooted in who we aspire to be. Pat Casey was a phenomenon and a legacy in this beautiful home we call BMX.

It has been less than a year since Pat Casey has tragically passed away and it just doesn't feel real. I have been thinking of Pat so much lately and I wanted to make this video to honor Pat's legacy and remind everyone that he is a BMX legend that reinvented the sport with his signature style. We all love and miss Pat..
"It was 2017, a time in between contests. It was Pat and Kevin’s first time in Toronto, Canada where I filmed them in Varga's backyard in Whitby, Ontario. I think Varga had just gotten some additions to his ramp and same with Pat. So the idea was to film mainly Pat at Varga's house with some trio clips of them all, and then film the other half of the video at Pat's house."
Man, writing anything about Pat is hard... And honestly, I don't even know what to write. As the video intro says, Pat went out to FISE Montpellier where he took a pretty hard slam when someone left their wheel over the deck. So, he ended up chilling for a few days (with his family) in Paris before heading to the Czech Republic to ride the "Coolife Fest" event. Pat being Pat, he met up with a filmer (or two?) and managed to wreck house at spots of all kinds. Pat Casey forever and ever.
Before June 6th, Pat had this video edited and ready to post. We decided to add in a little bit of Reid hoping to encourage and uplift friends, family and fans of the Casey family. We will continue to post and share our story with you for Pat! Enjoy!
Pat Casey has passed away after a dirt bike crash and the BMX community is heart broken. Pat is one of the greatest riders to touch a BMX bike but he was an even better Father and husband. There has been a fund set up to support Pat's family during this horrific time and I would appreciate it if you could donate or share if you could.
On June 6th 2023 BMX lost a living legend and his family lost a father. I am at a loss of words to type. The links to what I talk about are below. Stay safe out there and hug your family.
It ain't no secret, Jason Watts can swing a hammer with the best of ‘em. Jason and Pat Casey teamed up recently to freshen up Pat’s Dream Yard and Veesh (Yawn Media) was there to capture the whole process. Hurry up and do a dipped three on your way to the play button to see what new lines they came up with.
