So much has happened since Stephen arrived its hard to imagine we have only been here in Denver for less than 1 week. Stephen's clincial team are amazing. His Primary Doctor has everything under control and is taking care of all the underlying problems Stephen has had in the last 4 weeks to enable Stephen to move forward and really start his rehab.Stephen has seen an ENT consultant for his trach, gastroenterologist for his stomach problems, Respiratory consultant for his lungs, dieticians, speech and languate therapists besides his regular nurses, phyiso, occupational therapist. Everyone is so caring.
The next T-Mobile Local Support Challenge takes place at BMX Park Darmstadt / Germany on 28th of July. This time the BMX teams will battle in the discipline BMX Miniramp. The Local Support style stays the same: Every national BMX spot can compete with one or more teams, each consisting of three riders – thereby it doesn´t matter, if the rider is a pro or am, sponsored or not.
The best team wins money for a new Local Support Obstacle for their local BMX park. Furthermore there are many other top-prizes for the challenging teams, like for example a complete organized BBQ for 30 persons including a BBQ-master. The best unsponsored teamrider receives the T-Mobile Wildcard and goes directly to the BMX Miniramp final of the T-Mobile Extreme Playgrounds Summer Session on 26th of August in Hamburg.
Mankind is very happy to announce that close friend and hyper energy duracell Björn “Bommel” Mager from Berlin, Germany is now riding for Mankind Bike Co. . Bommel is overly friendly but also that generally loud and a lot talking nerd, which is even doing double whip flips after being a party animal the night before and looking like a zombie on a 20” inch.
You might have seen Bommel going bananas at the Masters in Cologne, if not come to Rebel Jam in Berlin and witness the slickness.

Been good & should gets sum sick coverage from tha show, "Warped Wednesday's", It's on FUSE NETWORK every Wednesday, It covers all different angles from tha tour(FUSE Is an music channel).......so far I filmed a 5 minute segment with them and thay have plans 2 do 2 more 5 minute segments with me........tha lifestyle of a pro BMX'er 11 years on this tour.....OH! Come till Portimão for the greatest Flatland Contest carried in Portugal on 22 and 23 September 2007. The REMAX Fieldcontrol is an international Flatland event, with the purpose to whelp the Flatland evolution and give to the rider one opportunity to get a couple days fun. The event will have two classes, Stunt Boy (Masters) and Stunt Man (Pro), with a total price Money of 3.000,00€ for the Stunt Man class (1º-1200€; 2º-750€; 3º-550€; 4º-350€; 5º-150€). The stunt Boy will receive gifts from our sponsors till the 5th place.
With 2 outdoor events cancelled due to excessive rain, we can't wait for the real summer to start. Stephen arrived in Denver on Tuesday morning after a comfortable flight with no hiccups - he had sweethearted his favourite nurse from Shock Trauma to travel with him to relieve his anxiety for the 5 hour journey. Although we were all pleased to leave the shock trauma unit in Baltimore it was very emotional for the family as we had become attached to each and everyone member of the staff who worked there. They are a fantastic team, dedicatied, committed and saved our souls and our sanity. Anyway a new page is starting for Stephen and we are all looking forward to his road to recovery.
