This Saturday 16 December the FSO crew is organizing a mini jam in Amsterdam. The venue is Everland skatepark. The jam starts at noon and ends at six. It's 6 euros to ride and the afterparty will be at De Melkweg in Amsterdam. With the whole flatland BMX crew in town for the Flatground contest this will be a BMX party of sorts. Amsterdam is worth a visit at any time but with two BMX contests going on you might as well look for a way to get there this weekend.

England´s finest, Phil Aller, rides for KHE. The German company is pleased to have him on board and wishes him a successful 2007. Right now, he rides a Method2 bike, but he will design his own signature frame for next year. The work has just begun. By the way, Phil appears on a dance mix of Pink Floyd´s “Brick in the Wall”,  which you can look at on MTV or at the media section on the KHE website. Al D is at it again with another BMX Invasion Bike Battle. The date is january 14th and the place is Skate 57 in Hackettstown, NJ. If all riders would be into organizing events like Al D., everyone would have a local jam every couple of months. Here's the info on number seven:

ALL DAY EVENT". $20.00 fee to enter for the class of your choice. PRO/EXPERT/NOVICE. Doors open 10am for registration or call in advance.  $5.00 spectator fee.

The night started off late as usual. My friend Heather and I got to the venue at around 6:20pm with the red carpet to begin at 6:30pm but it turned out to be more like 7:00pm before the first celebrities arrived. So there we stood, outside in the freezing cold (yes, it was probably about 60 or so and being from SoCal...that constitutes freezing for us) waiting for the show to begin. The first person to arrive was wake-boarder Dallas Friday. Following her where the hosts of the evenings festivities, the guys of Jackass including Steve-O and Preston Lacy. All I have to say is with those guys around, just expect the unexpected, they are all around really nice guys though.
