What was your very first BMX bike?
Thomas Jouve: I got a Sunn Bicycle for Christmas when I was 5.
How much different is it from the one you're racing today?
Thomas Jouve: It was way smaller! Just a regular junior size BMX, straight from the shop. Nowadays all the parts are selected from what is the best for me and my riding.
What is a new product that you thought was very welcome in BMX?
Thomas Jouve: I think the disk brake was very welcome. At first I was hesitant but then I put one on my bike and liked it.

Name: Justin Posey
Sponsors: Mongoose Bicycles, Answer BMX, USA BMX Foundation, Fly Racing, Potter Racing Products
Mechanic: Myself, and I am not very good haha.
How long have you been riding for Mongoose now?
Justin Posey: 2 years! It's been a dream come true.
Are you handling the TM duties as well?
Justin Posey: Sorta kinda. I am helping the race side of things. Leigh Ramsdell is still the TM for the entire Mongoose brand, but I have been helping as much as I can!
How does it feel getting to pick the riders?
Justin Posey: I am honored to take on that responsibility. I take pride in picking riders that are not only fast and stylish, but are great people off the track. Individuals that set good examples, are ambassadors, and promote not only Mongoose and the sponsors to the best of their abilities, but education (which we are very passionate about)!
How do you like the feel and look of your bike?
Michram Industries has been a sponsor of mine, running his chain rings for two years now. As a fellow Australian company, I really wanted to support local and ride for a local brand. We decided that we wanted to collaborate together to introduce a new stiffer and stronger "OWT" Optimal Weave Technology. My main key points when designing the rim was, I wanted to have it represent my love of clean lines and stealth black with a unique finish. We came up with the hand-woven layered design which to me has a real military, camp stealth vibe. As a world champion, I wanted to make sure that it was world class quality and available in all 20-24 inch rim sizes, as well as the strongest, stiffest and lightest rim combination.
It's finished with a matte black carbon finish, grey logos and decals...clean, class and simple.
