Surgery went okay and most of the pain is finally gone… It’s been 3 weeks since my crash in Geneva. The first week was very painful, because my wrist was not in the right position and my arm was very swollen. So I had to wait one week till surgery. Before surgery, doctors told me it could be a challenge to fix it. When I heard they put in 1 metal plate + 10 screws, it scared me, because I didn’t expect that much screws… But the fracture in my joint was very complicated, so it was necessary!
I was hoping the pain would be less after surgery, but unfortunately it was even worse! I had to stay 2 more nights at the hospital. When the nurses gave me the maximum painkillers, I was still crying in my bed. Finally the doctors had to give me a block injection that paralysed my arm. I didn’t feel anything, not even my fingers. It was strange, but at
