Meet Jesse, a young budding professional BMXer with big accomplishments under his belt and even bigger plans for the future who, we are very excited to announce, is the newest member of Box’s all-star BMX lineup. We are beyond thrilled to welcome this remarkable racer and individual to the Box BMX racing team where he joins the likes of fellow pros and national champions Cameron Wood, Cole Tesar, Eddy Clerte, and Daleny Vaughn among others, and to support him on his quest for excellence.
There is so much in store for Jesse whose professional racing career is finally beginning after a year of waiting and watching due to serious injuries on top of the pandemic, and now the Box family will be there in his pit to witness, celebrate, and spur his progression each step of the way. BMX Race Ljubljana will take place on 7th & 8th August in Slovenian capital Ljubljana, on a venue with over three decades long history. Sunday race has a UCI C1 status, while the whole event is part of the Alpe Adria BMX cup and Slovenian national cup. Race is tempting due to great prize money and live broadcast, so it’s no surprise that riders from 8 countries have already signed up. BMX racing in Ljubljana has a long history, but the race in this form and shape is taking place for the last five seasons; the race was also held in 2020, despite the pandemic. 2021 UCI BMX World Championships go ahead for Elite and Junior riders – no Challenge races
The competent authorities of the Netherlands have confirmed that both the Elite and Junior races for men and women at the 2021 UCI BMX World Championships shall go ahead as scheduled on 21 and 22 August in Papendal. However, due to the current pandemic (Covid-19) linked to the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2), the Challenge races for amateurs will be cancelled.
Still an expected 300 participants will race for the 2021 Elite Men, Elite Women as well as the Junior Men and Junior Women World titles that come with the UCI rainbow jersey. No Amateur classes, no U23, and no Master classes will be on the program for 21/22 August 2021.
