In the evening 15 rad riders showed off their best at the BMX street finals. At 27 years young, Boyd Hilder, an absolute talent and crowd pleaser, clinched victory at Simple Session for the second consecutive year, scoring an impressive 90.33 points. Boyd said that he enjoyed his run and completed all the tricks he chose and felt good about his run.

After several years eight women competed at the Sister Session 23 BMX street jam. MC Andy Zeiss says that all the ladies were delivering hard, trying to find their lines with the mix of street and transition moves and tricks. “Bethany definitely made the biggest overall impression on us, that’s what the judges are always looking for – the biggest variety of tricks, how original both runs are, and how many tricks are repeated. Bethany didn’t fall or slip, she was very committed, she did the 360 fakie out of the quarter pipe – that was very unique,” says Zeiss.

Last weekend in İstanbul both sides of the Bosphorus witnessed a great BMX competition organized by Redbull and hosted by Redbull BMX rider Bora Altintas, who was alao the idea giver for the event. The competition took place on a ferryboat in the middle of the Bosphorus. Two teams each representing one side of the Bosphorus competed against each other.
A skatepark was created by Cinoskatepark on the ferry boat itself. Each team had 6 BMX riders , either riding for the Asian or European side. The competition was very challenging due to the weather conditions as the wind was very strong and the ferry had to take some serious waves, making it very
