The internet is a crazy place. News gets spread quickly and when BMX Mania's Jerry Landrum announced his retirement it spread like wildfire. Almost to the fact where it felt someone had died and people were writing good things about him. For sure it's nice that Jerry got to read all of the positive messages himself. I'm not sure where I met Jerry first.
