In the unpredictable year of 2020, we didn’t know if or when we would see racing go down once again in the USA for Pros. But leave it to USA BMX to not only pull off an incredible feat of running over 20 races since the Pandemic started, but they put together one of the biggest and best USA BMX Grand Nationals to date. Tulsa was rocking, with masks on and 6 feet apart, and the riders were pumped to be back on track and racing for a title.
The Chase Pro team of Joris Daudet and Connor Fields have held the USA BMX #1 Pro title for the past 5 years between each other, and they were looking it make it a 6 pack of titles.
The Pros would race for the USA BMX title all on Friday, starting with the qualifying races during the Race of Championships, and then coming back for the Semi Finals and 3 Main events during he Night Show. With the top 16 Pros that qualified to the semis, there would be 2 groups, where the top 4 from each would make the main event. Connor and Joris would be in the same Semi final.

From the BMXRacingGroup Youtube page - Chase BMX Pro team Race Report - Rounds 5 & 6 of the 2019 UCI BMX World Cup Supercross tour were held in Pairs, France and both Joris Daudet and Connor Fields were ready to race against the world fastest racers.
This Thanksgiving, Joris Daudet has plenty to be thankful for - He recently found out he is going to be a Dad. Just days later, he made USA BMX History. as he has now won his 3rd #1 Elite Mens title in just 4 years. Joris had an incredible season, capping it off by wining both the Friday Race of Champions Main event in Tulsa, and then also winning the USA BMX Grand Nationals Elite Mens main event! Joris caps off his most successful season on the USA BMX Pro Tour, just ahead of teammate Connor Fields, who wrapped up the year as the #2 overall Elite Mens Pro.
Connor had an incredible 2nd half of the season, after a crash early on in the season kept him off track and out of the top 3 results, until mid season, and then he tuned it up with just a few races left, to climb from the the bottom of the top 10 pros to finish up 2nd overall. What an incredible season for both Riders, but Joris was the years standout, and by far the fastest Pro in Tulsa this year!
Chase BMX wants to thank all of the team partners and supporters for another great season, and
The 2018 UCI BMX World Cup tour traveled to 4 countries, for 8 rounds of Elite racing. Connor Fields had missed a few events due to injury, but was looking to end the World Cup series on a high note. On Day 1 of the weekend in Santiago Del Estero, both riders looked strong, but neither were able to make it out of the semi finals and into the main event. Day 2 would be a much better day, as Joris and Connor would both advance into the main event.
As the points played out, due to series overall leader Niek Kimmann having made the finals, Joris would
Stop #9 of the 2018 USA BMX Pro Series tour took the Elite racers to one of the most loved and historical tracks in BMX, the EP Tom Sawyer Derby City BMX track in Louisville, KY. The home of the NBL Grand Nationals and some of the best titles races in the past has now been transformed into one of the USA BMX SX race locations and still produces some incredible racing. With the 2018 season on the wind down and just a few stops left for the Pros, each race is important for anyone looking to take the #1 Pro title from last years Champ, Connor Fields. Joris Daudet is having an incredible season and leads the chase for the title, so Louisville would be a key race for both Chase BMX pros.
Joris Daudet has been collecting wins on the 2018 tour with 8, heading into the Derby City Nationals, as he currently leads the #1 Pro title Chase. Joris would love to add a 3rd USA BMX #1 Pro title to his list of accomplishments and by the way he raced on Day 1 for the Elites in Louisville, he looks to be on his way. Joris would win the main event by taking the lead from the drop of the gate and never looked back.
The Chase BMX Pros, Connor Fields and Joris Daudet both headed to Stop #8 for the Elite riders of the 2018 season for race round 15 & 16 for the Pro Series tour.
