After a hot weekend of BMX Racing at Papendal, Netherlands we've gathered reactions from the winners of Sunday at Round four of the 2023 UCI BMX Racing World Cup.
Rico Bearman (NZL) continued his dominance of the Under 23 Men category at the UCI BMX Racing World Cup taking his fourth consecutive victory for the season and maintaining his stranglehold on the overall series standings. The New Zealander led from the drop of the gate and never looked like losing the lead to Yuichi Masada (JPN) who picked up second place with hometown favourite Casper Pipers (NED) in third place.

The good part about having two full World Cups in one weekend is that you get to ride twice in one weekend. The bad part is the number of laps you need to ride at full speed. Those making it to the final on Saturday surely felt their heavy legs along the way to the final on Sunday. Five out of six athletes made two podiums at the opening weekend of the UCI BMX SX World Cup. In. Elite Men the order was different with Joris Daudet (FRA) taking the win with Romain Mahieu (FRA) close behind. This made the crowd go nuts in the first World Cup back in France since Fréjus in 2010. Niek Kimmann had to settle for third but a win and a 3rd isn't a bad score. The overall standings in Elite Men couldn't be much closer with Daudet and Kimmann tied in points with 265 and Mahieu close behind with 260 World Cup pts.
