A few years ago Peter Geys wanted to follow his dream. He wanted to start a BMX business in Belgium where he's from. The Bike Devil looked at several opportunities and ended up with a bike shop in Eksel with lots of space in the back, enough to build some ramps. Peter and his crew just finished a spine miniramp and last weekend the official opening took place. On Saturday Riccardo Moes picked up Paul and I to go to Belgium. The Students contest was on the program. Yes, Peter also started giving BMX lessons to the young kids. Might sound odd at first, but imagine being able to choose between riding BMX, or go to the soccer trainer twice a week. Sure, easy choice. These young BMX kids had a contest on Saturday and Peter's team did a demo at the end of the day to show what's possible on the new ramps.
