Almost every day we drive by this concrete skatepark in Lake Forest. This one night we stopped to take some pictures of the place through the fence. Bikes are not allowed but skateboarders and rollerskaters (for real) were having a good time inside. The place has toilets, vending machines, lights at night, water fountains, picnic tables and plenty of concrete bowls, ramps, ledges and metal rails to enjoy. It's the total package you could wish for but I have one more wish and that is to ride the
On this trip I have been to a lot of spots. This one is really close to the place we're staying at but we still went by car. There are lots of hills here which would be fun to roll down from, but going uphill would not be fun. Right before we were leaving I discovered I had a flat tire. We did not have much daylight left so any minute spent fixing the bike, was one minute less at the trails. It was my first time there. The location is cool but you need to know about the trails otherwise you won't find it. It was very dusty. A bit of water would be good for most jumps. 
One of the spots that my father wanted to show me was Sheep Hills. He told me the spot has been around for over 25 years and the first time he visited it was in 1990. That's way before I was born. We parked the car at the gas station and rode across the bridge to get from HB to Costa Mesa. Then we took a small path on the right and rolled downhill until we got to the famous Sheep Hills. It was dusty so a mountain biker named Tyler and dad got some cans of water at the nearby lake and made a few of the jumps wet so they had better traction.
Another day in paradise but this time we got up early for a session at the Vans park in Huntington Beach. The alarm went off at 06:30hr to beat the morning traffic. At 08:00am I was padded up and ready to go. Early for riding a concrete skatepark but well worth it when you know what's there to ride. The Vans park has a lot of street stuff to ride, from ledges in all sizes to rails that won't instantly kill you.
The first ever Oakley products made were BMX grips and goggles. The founder named the company after his dog Oakley. Now Oakley produces 70.000 lenses per day and they've got a nice dirt track behind the building that we got to ride. Next to the pump track we also hit the table line which lead to a step-up jump. Hi, Philip here. Last week I spent a couple of days at the US Open in Huntington Beach. On Sunday at the Van Doren Invitational a couple of young riders got to ride the concrete bowl. Before the finals started about 8 kids rode the bowl. It wasn't a contest but my top three of the young riders are as follows:2. Kaden Stone

I saw Bryce for the third time in three weekends. First at Woodward West, then at Stephen Murray's dirt jam and now at the US Open. His dad put some miles on their car the last three weeks as the trips from NorCal take about 6 hours each way. Bryce did a backflip flyout and tailwhips. He also did no-handers on the quarterpipe and one-footed tables. He got a lot of runs in.
Kaden Stone is only 10 years old and was ripping on the course.
