S is for September and Simple Session! More than 100 world-class skateboarders and BMX riders will be back in Tallinn’s old rubber factory – Põhjala turned into action sports heaven on September 23–24. But it wouldn’t be the legendary Simple Session without awesome street jams starting already on Wednesday, the 20th, and unforgettable parties that turn this competition into a festival.
"This year, the list of riders is exceptionally powerful. Simple Session has been one of the world's greatest action sports festivals for years, and it is a great pleasure to welcome so many absolute top skaters and BMX riders here. As a new category, there will also be a women's street BMX competition this year," says Risto Kalmre, one of the creators of the event.
Nate the Great is back with a park design that will challenge the street and transition riders alike. “The 800-square-meter arena designed by legendary Nate Wessel, will be thrilling for street riders, but at the same time, thanks to certain elements, it also sparks an eye for any transition rider as well. A rider who skilfully uses most of the elements and is able to invent unique lines, earns good points from the
etnies congratulates Jordan Godwin on winning the NORA Cup 2023 Street Rider of the Year award earlier this week at the White Rock Theatre in Hastings, England. “The most motivated humble rider I’ve ever met. This award is more than well deserved. 2023 is Jordan’s year!” - Ian Morris, etnies European BMX Team Manager

Being staged from March to June 2024, the OQS will directly qualify 12 athletes (six men and six women) for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Information about the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, qualification system and the OQS, can be find here.
The calendar for the 2024 UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup (Park and Flatland), including new stopovers, will be announced in the coming months.
BMX is fun. At least it should be. If you are up for a good time, try this summer's FATJAM in Aarle-Rixtel. Date? Saturday 26 August 2023 at the infamous Sugar Hills Trails at the Valkendijk. Same shit, different year, but get ready for Bikes, Beers and more beers. With a bit of luck we'll add that BBQ again (update; masterchef Fritskemaat is hospitalized and will not be grilling) so after that BMX session it's time to hang out with the posse to shoot the shit.
Bring your own drinks. Bring your own chair. Bring your own bike. Getting together is half the reason we're throwing the jam, even after all these years.
The evening will continue at OJA, as usual. Schoolstraat 2, Aarle-Rixtel. More (cheap) beer and hanging out. Add live music by Punk Band The Burlers, fussball and hammering nails on that wooden trunk. If you've been there before, you know. If you haven't, your life is not complete until you've visited the FATJAM and OJA in Aarle-Rixtel, Netherlands. -Admission: Free -Registration: None -Parking: Free -Riding: Gratis
